It’s not official yet, but word going around the Internet is that a kindle application for Mac OS and the BlackBerry devices is in the works. Considering that the iPhone will be getting a kindle app, it shouldn’t be too much of a surprise, and we certainly hope that this will become a reality. Fast Company is reporting that there is a kindle reader application coming for the Mac. At the Windows 7 launch this week, Microsoft said there is a Windows version of the e-reader on the way, prompting a promise from Amazon that a Mac version was coming as well. Amazon hasn’t released sales figures for the hardware-based kindle reader, but under pressure from Sony and the new Barnes and Noble ‘nook,’ Amazon is working hard to increase the share of kindle users. Today I went to the doctors, and I have all of the symtoms of h1n1. It started as a low grade fever with a mild sore throat and headache, then the fever went away and I was good for most of the next day. The fever came back with a cough, and today I have a runny nose too. The fever is inconsistent. The doc prescribed me antibiotics without testing for swine, but right now I have a feeling I’ve got it. Is it okay to take these antibiotics even if it was wrongly prescribed? Please don’t say that I probably don’t have it, that’s not what I’m asking, I just want to know if it’s okay to take the antibiotics even if I end up having swine flu.

Both my kids had H1N1 back in mid-August, and both were treated and came through no worse for the wear. Now, since the vaccine is supposed to protect against the known virus, and they both have had it, should they need the vaccine, or would it be pointless? I know it is a possibility that the virus could mutate but then the vaccine would be worthless anyway, right? By the way, my kids are 4 and 2 weeks from being 1. Thanks.
